The Little Red Hen by Jerry Pinkney
A new twist on an old tale. Pinkney in illustrating the animals uses realistic colors and colors the words in the text the same as the animals. Great for pre-ks and kinders to learn some of their color words. The use of graphite, ink and watercolor is a visual feast.
